Fraser River

The Fraser River flows 1400 km (869 miles) from the Rocky Mountains in eastern British Columbia to the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of the province. It is a major salmon habitat, a transportation route, and has near it's mouth many hectares of rich farmland built up over millenia from water-borne silt, culminating in an estuary that is an important breeding ground for migratory birds. The Fraser is vast and powerful. This gallery is an attempt to portray the vibrancy of this formidable river and the areas adjacent to it.

Good to stumble onto this gallery; a cousin was responsible for master-planning some of the modern infrastructure and wanted me to go on an over-fly. Next best thing to see a good gallery of it and will study it more. Thank you for sharing
