pincer

the north arm of the Fraser is speckled with industry...here warehouses line the shore, a small harbour for fishing boats nestles into the banks, and some sort of gritty pincer-like machine marshals logs for a nearby lumber mill

I'm amazed they still transport logs in this fashion ! The residue from the logs accumulates on the floor of the river - not good :( You've captured the scene very nicely tho', David V
