scramble

yesterday took a walk by the river after dark, and at a somewhat lonely spot too...there did not seem too much happening until I suddenly realized a tugboat was passing by...what a scramble to set up, and just in time too...I had my fingers crossed that it would sail through the frame and leave light trails right across...well, got the streaks of light, but even over 30 seconds the tug failed to complete the transit...the image is cropped a bit to reduce the grey of the sky

I will be off on an airplane to Ontario in the morning, and back in ten days...the weather forecast looks a bit grim, but will see what can be done in the wet conditions

Works really well, I like the razor sharp transit path of light the frame and the metallic sheen on the water.

Great capture with this passing tugboat. The colors and reflections are beautiful. I like the pattern the long exposure causes on the water very much. Excellent work, David! V
