I missed this one and didn't realize you were still so restricted. That is a rather sinking feeling! Hope things are starting to improve in you area now.

So they tightened up your restrictions? I'm sorry to hear that. Here, they seem to be loosening up although in some cases, I'm sure, prematurely.

Looks like someone is trying to rescue it.

The current state of the world in a picture. The border continues to be closed. I would love to visit Toronto. V

Where's the light at the end of the tunnel?

An image to match with the news... The tragedy seems to never last !!! V.

c'est aussi ce qui se passe chez nous ! il faut espérer que le jour ou on retournera à la vie "normale" arrivera le plus tôt possible ! v

Ooops - sinking fast along with the rest of us !! What a pain :( I'm planning a road trip at the end of July - hope we're afloat by then !!

Nice find, this does illustrate the way some of us feel about this whole thing.

Ok that would cause the spirits to sink. Hang in there.

An apt image to convey the mood of the times. Someday perhaps this will all be over.

Yep, looks like we are still sinking, with second vaccine doses delayed for four months - all for political ineptitude and foot-dragging. .
Helen Betts20-Apr-2021 20:34
Oh my, that's pretty drastic. I wasn't aware it was so bad now in Canada.
Johnny JAG20-Apr-2021 19:50
Oh no! Things are just easing here, just hope it's not too soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Just when it seemed that some travel might be in your near future. Fortunately, our numbers are way down. Texas has been wide open for several months and so far, so good. And most that are vulnerable to extreme symptoms have been vaccinated. We still wear our masks, even though we got our shots.
Mairéad20-Apr-2021 19:08
Yes, I've read that cases are rising in parts of Canada.
We thankfully are at the end of the third wave and restrictions
are being slowly lifted (fingers crossed the rollout of vaccines will prevent a fourth wave).
Your image is certainly apt.
John Hamers20-Apr-2021 19:08
That's a real setback with the better weather prospects.

sad to hear about your new restrictions.

Sorry to hear about your new restrictions. V.
