Steveston

there are artifacts galore in the office of a larger woodworking building, a display to spur nostalgia, although perhaps not for anyone who has had to change the ribbon on a typewriter

Remember how hard you used to have to hit those keys...love the old phone too. Great looking black and white.

The vintage items fit perfectly with the tones. I really like the composition. V

Excellent capture of this display.
I've owned several typewriters and I greatly regret not keeping my portable mechanical one. It was a beautiful device in its own way.

A fabulous vintage capture. Very nice in B&W.

Great shot of some proper technology. I'd rather change a ribbon than deal with computer issues of today.

My grandfather's home office in the basement looked very much like this, even the light slanting through the window. Thanks for the memories.

A typewriter before gray ones. I do remember changing ribbons!

Reminds me of my high school typing class. I like a dose of nostalgia.

Time travel for sure. Love the rotary phone. B&W was a great choice for the presentation.

A rotary dial phone and typewriter/ribbons are a familiar part of my past - I guess that makes me vintage! Even the mugs look familiar. Perfect in b&w which of course it had to be.

Good choice for b&w and what a trip to the past. I remember stamps like that at work in the old country. As for the typewriter, my old IBM is still in the garage.
