wood chips

another load of wood chips passes along the river, likely destined to be turned into particle board (chipboard to some), a cheaper building material for instances when strength is not important

Classic maritime scene, raw materials moving from wilderness to industry.

Our house in Edmonton was made with particle board, but our BC house has only high quality plywood. In fact all the construction I see on Quadra Island is with plywood.

The sturdy planks of the walk will surely outlast anything made from the chips. V

A chip off the old block, eh? Seriously, a well composed photo with good light and shadows. V

Nicely composed. I like the way you lined this up. Not a good building material and used way to much here.
