also adjacent to the Milltown pub (see previous) is a posh, private marina...usually the gate to the floating docks is locked, but this day was jammed wide open...untroubled by minor scruples, I strolled down the entrance ramp for a snoop about the locale...of course soon met a security guard, told him up front that although I had no business trespassing there, just wanted to take a few photos and would not touch anything...he was a good fellow (perhaps a closet photographer), said that was fine, and that later I should close the gate carefully on the way back out
