Isolation: Stay-at-Home 2020 - Spring

This Gallery is 84 days long...
***********************************

The entire world has been touched by COVID-19.

Healthy, we've been in self isolation and staying at home ever since my husband started to tele commute on March 9th. Being self employed, I started to stay home myself even 8 days before that. When asked how long I'd continue to report daily stats, I originally said until things reached 100,000. Looking back, I now wonder what 100,000 THAT will be... The world long ago passed 100,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19. So has the United States. So, what will the "new" 100,000 be?

Some of the photos in this gallery will be better quality photos. Others will be nothing more than quick snapshots of & from isolation. I guess the snapshots will reflect my mood of the day. I share my isolation together with much of the rest of the world. We are all going through something unlike anything else in modern history. I know that I am a lot luckier than some in isolation because I have my husband and dogs to be able to hold close. Still, it's not easy. Choosing to stay home is DIFFERENT than having to stay at home because your life may depend on it. Everyone, who is also in "at home" isolation right now, will understand what I mean. Those who are part of the "high risk" group may understand even more.

These are my memories for the future when life once again someday finally returns to normal.
My photos and short notes are memories of history survived.

UPDATE: May 26, 2020
The final 100,000 milestone was hit today. There has now been 100,000 American lives lost to COVID-19. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. After 74 days of Stay-at-Home, social isolation, I am starting to feel the emotional burn out from BOTH being confined to home and from watching the unreal (and often selfish) events happening in the USA outside of stay-at-home isolation. The virus is still here, but too many people don't seem to care. Therefore, the virus continues to take more and more lives. At this point, there seems to be no end in sight.

UPDATE: June 19, 2020.
2,297,190 Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the USA 121,407 Confirmed coronavirus American Deaths
Yet the story continues with still no end in sight: https://pbase.com/britestar/isolation_stayathome_2020__summer
