Social Distancing 2020

The elusive spotting of critters - otherwise known as "neighbors" - in their native wild habitat.

USA

532,879 cases of COVID-19

20,577 Deaths

Sad Milestone:
Today the number of Worldwide Deaths from COVID-19 exceeded 100,000 souls.

Today also was still once again another "most deadly day" in America. More people died today from coronavirus in the USA today than died the day before and the day before that and on & on & on. More people died from COVID-19 in the USA than from any other cause. Deaths in America from coronavirus now exceed 20,000 American souls.

Lost Americans are 20% of those who have been lost to coronavirus in the entire world. Each and every one of those lost souls were "someone"; not merely statistics. When thinking about how serious this disease is to us all, we must always remember that the numbers represent real people.

Somberly, the Unites States now has the distinction of having lost more people to COVID-19 than any other country in the world.
We were warned...

It took 600mm zoom to capture the above image. Social distancing saves lives.
This is a family together in their own yard. I don't remember having ever seen any of them before. However, they live on the next courtyard over. These are unusual times. Unlike in the past, entire families are now all staying home and doing things together. Springtime brings them outdoors.

Do your part to help stop COVID-19. Unless you are an essential worker (our heroes), stay at home.

Most people are sticking to the lockdown but there are some that still flout the rules in the UK as well. Police have been moving people on in parks who are sunbathing or just sitting on benches...!
