Before the Pandemic

I normally always carried Purell on my Bridge Camera strap.
Those days of routine "normalcy" now seem like a lifetime ago.

**********************************************************************
Update: March 27, 2020, 23:51 GMT
As much as one may want life to be normal, this new reality can't be ignored.

USA: 102,396 cases of COVID-19 - 1,607 deaths
**********************************************************************

This mini Purell bottle has seen a lot of refills; plus has traveled the world.
Not long ago, all was a part of "normal life".
Nothing to really mention.
Carrying Purell back then just made me feel better.
Carrying Hand Sanitizer in these days of Coronavirus has now almost become part of a survival kit....

Today, one can only dream, of what was once their previous normality, someday returning.
The experts continue to say that things are still going to get only worse than they are today...
Based on how bad the world situation has become, that seems almost unimaginable.
So very many things lately would have once been unimaginable.

Life will never be the same for many thousands....everyone needs to act like they HAVE the virus and help to stop this runaway killer train.
Keep well Liz

Good luck finding refills these days, unfortunately. It's good that you have always practiced caution in you travels. Stay healthy!

Striking still life. I think everyone carried those small hand sanitizers routinely. Compelling way of putting it all into context. V.

Just like after 9/11, life will be different for everyone. Let's hope that this pandemic passes quickly and pray that we don't lose too many people from it.

You are so right in this message, Liz. I dont think things will ever be the same again! This virus effects everyone in every walk of life at any age and any state of health conditions, even totally fit people have sadly passed away after getting the coronavirus. I think there will be a light at the end of this very long tunnel, goodness knows we need to hold onto some kind of hope that we will ride out this virus...

It is all unimaginable because we have not seen anything of this sort in our lifetime and it is quite terrifying for everyone around the globe. Good commentary and shot.
