USA
1,160,774 confirmed cases of COVID-19
67,444 American Deaths

Fact: One American lost their life to Coronavirus every 44 seconds during the month of April 2020.

Note: Each & every number in the COVID-19 statistics represent one "real" person; not merely an abstract number. These statistics continue to rise in states that have already reopened their economies. Despite what many wish to believe, the Pandemic has not “magically” gone away just because businesses are now opening their doors.

I'm hoping that whatever is bothering the above hibiscus really is non contagious & that the plant will again return to normal health after the infected sections are pruned away... Since the spots developed while the plant Wintered indoors - not outdoors as noted above - I'm not sure. With even any possibility of it having a contagious disease, this plant has been put into isolation. Keeping the sick away from the healthy (or the healthy away from the sick) helps to stop disease spread.

Neat to photograph, but not so neat for the plant. My roses get this kind of stuff all the time and it is so hard to control.

It may be a fungus, but it does give the leaves a striking appearance.

A fine composition. The leaves are not healthy but it makes a nice image with this combination of colors.V

You are right statistics are announced everyday without emotion by the TV journalists. It was not the same in the beginning of march when the epidemic started here in France. They showed more empathy, but with the passing days, the dead become more numbers than human beings...
