A day out down to Gloucester took us through places in the Cotswolds which we remembered enjoying on a previous house exchange in 2008. We then travelled further to Tetbury and Malmsbury in Wiltshire.

Tetbury, with its distinctive market hall was busy with visiting French market stall holders, a bright and entertaining brass band and a woolsack race later in the day. Crowds of people and their dogs mingled, enjoying a burst of sun, sitting outside the Snooty Fox pub with a drink or tasting tempting French food. The Highgrove shop proffering goods and souvenirs from Prince Charles own country home was worth a look before we moved on to Malmesbury.
