This fateful year, 2020, began with very worrying news of COVID-19 from China, but soon became devastating news for the entire world.

We had to curtail our intended 6 weeks in England and quickly change our return flight to Australia.

Six weeks became two, and the places we were able to visit narrowed considerably to open air parks and gardens, the few shops in our local High St, drives to just a few National Trust gardens and walks around small villages and towns, which became largely quiet anyway as people began socially isolating.
