My Art

I have always enjoyed drawing and painting, most of my outlet as a teacher of young children, encouraging them, and using my own display boards enthusiastically. Once retired from full time teaching, I joined an art class, deciding pastel would be my medium. I found my teacher and the talent of those around me utterly inspiring and it became a very enjoyable hobby.

Following the enjoyment of my first years, I joined the Brighton Art Society which is much closer to home. That continued my enjoyment, with new tutors and new friends.

Fantastic work Barb.I have done a Maxine Wade Workshop as well at BAS it was fantastic. I also do workshops and Saturdays with Agata. She is a source of great inspiration and information for me.
