I first visited Thailand when my son and his family began living and working in Bangkok as expatriates. I enjoyed it immensely and discovered a new and exciting city.

Since then I have explored Bangkok many times and have travelled further in Thailand, where I have experienced new sights and gained a greater understanding of this country. Just as discovering new places and delights when travelling, the familiarity when re-visiting favourite places is also one of the pleasures. Always the same and always different.
