Daylesford, in country Victoria, nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range and the heart of Victoria's spa country, is barely two hours from Melbourne. Nearby is Lavandula Farm where fields of lavender surround old stone buildings and rambling flower gardens and where one may stumble upon a flock of geese grazing in the greenest of grass beneath huge old trees, stroll around the still waters of the lake or explore the lovely rooms an old stone house, reminiscent of an Italian Swiss farm.
