Out of our own home for 3 weeks to vacate it for a home exchange couple from Ireland/Spain were there, we decided to explore and enjoy our own nearby countryside. Taking our little dog Willow with us meant pet-friendly B&B accommodation which was not at all difficult to find. Three excellent places, all with AC and every comfort in which to base ourselves and delight, again, in our very own country in summer.

We enjoyed the country scenery, towns and the quietness of relaxed country living.
