Tasmania ... 11 galleries

A favourite destination for us. We have made many trips there including four home exchanges. Across Bass Strait, it is either fly and rent a car or, as we have in two recent trips, take the Spirit of Tasmania overnight crossing. We now prefer this as the Port of Melbourne is so close to where we live and our own car can be packed with whatever we like. It is a smooth and pleasant journey and we sleep well!

The pictures take us back to our visit in Tasmania. We have a picture of Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake hanging in our bedroom. I will attempt to take a picture of the picture and send it to you. It was snowing when we walked through the rainforest. I will always remember the walk around the lake.
