Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island (Photo # 01-54) is an island where Victoria, the beautiful capital of British Columbia Province is situated. The island is accessible by car ferry and by air. The cities I visited are all very scenic (on this trip I didn't have time to visit Butchart Garden as I was there before). What impressed me the most this time, was how artistic this island was. The mural town Chemainus was an eye-opener. In Parksville, I happened to stop by there on the day of their sand sculpting competition. I witnessed how creative and talented those participants were. I was on the island for 4 days, but everyday I had perfect weather. Hope my viewers like these photos (#55-60) were taken when I was back to the mainland of British Columbia.

BC is known for its incredible diversity of landscapes, including rugged mountains, lush forests, and stunning coastlines. The Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean provide dramatic backdrops that many find breathtaking.
