It was my 5th visit to Vancouver. When I arrived there the 2010 Winter Olympic was already over, and the Paralympic Games for the handicapped were also coming to an end. The Canadians were still in high spirit, and in the Downtown area I could see the volunteer workers still performing their duties with pride and enthusiasm.
I have many good friends who live in this beautiful city, and during my 3-day stay there, they drove me around sightseeing besides feeding me with all kinds of delicious food. On my first day the weather was fabulous. I had a full-day photo shooting in Vancouver and Richmond, accompanied by four good friends including Michael and his wife Janet, who showed me the impressive architecture of Simon Fraser University where both of them graduated, and the next day Peter drove me all the way to Whistler. We did not take the gondola up the mountain as the sky became very cloudy. I knew I wouldn't be able to take any clear shots, so I suggested to photograph the frozen Alta Lake instead. Soon after we left the lake, it started to rain. I should still consider myself lucky.
Good observation on 11, lonely old and beautiful relic midst modern environments. Good overview of post Olympic winter games. Well captured: 22, 23, 24, traditional eastern culture in a distant world, could have been anywhere in Asia.
'missed the bus' on 47, showing fatigue and deserving a good rest in the post Olympic aftermath ! Clamoring for more observations in the near future !!

Through your photographic eyes, I've now seen much more of Vancouver's beauty than what I've noticed during my life there!
