Making this pattern was quite an adventure for me because I made it in a wool blend jersey despite having almost no previous experience of sewing stretch fabrics. It was inspired by a leopard print cardigan with three-quarter sleeves and crystal buttons seen in a twee, overpriced boutique about three years ago. Shortly afterwards Sawyer Brook offered this fabric so I bought some and looked for a suitable pattern. This one by Loes Hinse seemed to be the best, although I am not crazy about it, mainly because the neck is cut so wide that it's cold to wear without something at the neck like a scarf or mock turtle.
