Folkwear 119 Sarouelles is a pattern for three types of traditional pants. I have made view A, the Turkish pants, using a Liberty of London Tana lawn in a classic paisley design called Bourton.
The legs are extremely full and are gathered at the ankle with elastic. There are no pockets. These pants are easy to make, although assembling the gusset is fiddly. I shall wear these as summer sleep pants and, although I am happy with them, I doubt I shall make them again.
