Worms

Worms is situated on the Upper Rhine, a city in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is one of the oldest cities in northern Europe.

A fine collection of photographs from this city. We passed by here on our Rhine River cruise a few years ago. We didn't stop but I did manage to get a photo of a tower with a clock by the bridge over the river. Great seeing the photos from here! V

I was surprised to hear the name of the town (never heard of it before), but not surprised at the skills you used to make every image picture perfect. The details in #08 and #17 are particularly interesting, I am sure they each tell an intriguing story, well captured Denise!

Such a wonderful visual tour in this gallery filled with amazing and beautiful images. At one point in my life I wanted to be an architect so I am always fascinated by the historical architecture. The connection between the church and architecture in Europe was significant as you have shown in this gallery. VV++
