For 14 years now, an exhibition of sculptures has been arranged along the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach to the south. This is the first that I've extracted my digit to photograph.

On the first expedition (30 October) my main 24-105 lens was in for service and in a sudden burst of masochism I opted to challenge myself to shooting "old school" with only the 50mm prime lens. I'm not sorry that I did it, but I'm not going to do it again in a hurry.

The first 3 hour visit didn't cover everything and I did a second shoot on 14 November, a much sunnier day from the outset. The images are organised in line with the exhibition catalogue numbers (shown in brackets after the sculpture name) roughly from Bondi, around the headland, up through Mark's Park, along Mackenzie's Bay and to Tamarama. If you're a past visitor you may find some of the newer shots mixed in with the older ones. The image number tells the difference. Comments relating to the sculpture often come from the exhibition catalogue.

Note that catalogue number 1 was a light projection which ran at night and therefore isn't part of the gallery. I finally added the last images to the gallery on 30 December. (There may be one more in the form of a triptych to come.)
