I described Nick Stranks' Bronzed Aussie Series (Life Jackets) in earlier shot 11682 which is down with sculpture 105, Sitting Hen. However I'm under no illusions that anyone is going to scroll through this gallery from beginning to end given the size of it, so I'll cover it here as well.
It's a series of bronzed lifejackets which are hung along the fence overlooking Tamarama Beach. His intention in bronzing them (apparently they were real life jackets) is to create the irony that they would no longer work, and to question the inherent obsolescence in objects.
Obviously a lot of the Tamarama Beach sculptures (from about 96 to 105) are visible in this shot as well.
