Richard Heinrich (USA) uses subway columns and steel frame buildings in his work. This one seems aptly titled given the dark overhanging clouds, but in fact they all burnt off within an hour or so of sunrise and there was no rain, no lightning, no thunder.
Including the crane in the background was intended to be somewhat reflective of the building materials, but I suspect that most people wouldn't have noticed it had I not mentioned it here. (Especially given the extra shallow depth of field.)
