As you can tell from the file number and timestamp (and possibly the light) this was taken on my way back along the path, after the sun had broken through.

Helle Frosig from Denmark constructed this "alien element" which is "seeking to adapt to its surroundings" by simulating both vegetation and human artefacts. The catalogue shows it located in a verdant forest, but its adaptation skills may be put to the test on these relatively barren shoreline rocks.


Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so.
