# Mapoon #

Mapoon is an Aboriginal community on the Gulf of Carpentaria coast of Cape York Peninsula, Australia. I visited for five interesting days, partly for work, partly to explore the area. Work was, in this case, vegetation surveys from a helicopter.
The air photos are taken with a GPS camera so the quality isn’t great; ground photos are taken with my regular DSLR.
