# Einasleigh River #

A location chosen by the visiting Nirvan Hope - and an inspired choice it proved to be.

The Einasleigh River is one of a number of seasonal rivers that drain a vast area of drier tropical savanna in north Queensland’s Gulf (of Carpentaria) Country.
At its seasonal peak, it may rage 400-m wide; by the middle of the dry season or sooner, it dries to a series of disconnected pools.
