6 a.m. sunrise on a very windy morning
Blowing a 40-knotter and a fiery red sky to start the day, 2 bushfires (wildfires) hopefully under control, one to the south and another to the north of us. Today the forecast is 40C, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 39C - phew, its going on forever!
Last night was wild and windy with heavy dust in the air reminding us of Ash Wednesday 1983 when the southern states were alight with fires, houses burnt, lives lost etc, etc.
