Another modern dance with an indigenous twist..
There were many different adaptations - all very entertaining.
The last from this series. Although we were in the front row, and I
had my little Lumix, I forgot to take more photos.
Indigenous version of Modern
The group has fun adapting modern pop/other with their indigenous moves
and amuse the audience...
More Traditional Indigenous display
Following the story of how this group began came a few quieter moments in the
dancing as seen here.
Action on stage
Their first item was a traditional dance and story... they move so fast that
many of the characters on stage become ghostly when caught on camera.
Returning on the back of sell out 2017 summer festivals, Sydney Opera House and Edinburgh Fringe seasons,
unique, infectious, high-energy, fusing traditional Yolngu, pop-culture, dance and storytelling to create work that is a marvel
of timing, comedy and clowning with a hefty dose of heart and soul. We saw them perform as part of the
Adelaide Fringe Festival mid March 2018. More photos to follow now and then through the month of April.
