6 a.m. sunrise on a very windy morning

Blowing a 40-knotter and a fiery red sky to start the day, 2 bushfires (wildfires) hopefully under control, one to the south and another to the north of us. Today the forecast is 40C, tomorrow, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 39C - phew, its going on forever!
Last night was wild and windy with heavy dust in the air reminding us of Ash Wednesday 1983 when the southern states were alight with fires, houses burnt, lives lost etc, etc.

What can I say...picture is striking, even artistic, but your life there looks terrific in those conditions. All the best for you and yours.

What a skyscape. I hope the threat of fire recedes and that cooler times come soon for you.

Excellent shot. I love the abstract look of it.
Adelaide now holds the record for the longest run of temps over 35C in a capital city!
