Taebulae Caelestes - Himmels-Atlas (Atlas of the Heavens).
A famous German Star Atlas that was first published in 1886 - quite cheap and therefore popular.
This first edition is by Richard Schurig (1820-1896) and edited by Friedrich Eduard Gäbler (1842-1911) from Leipzig.
The printing method is not copper or lithography, but "Pantatype", or "Zincography"; that's why it was so cheap.
After Schurig's death, it was republished six editions by Paul Götz (1883-1962) in 1909, 1916, 1920, 1924, 1933 and 1942, and the atlas was henceforth called 'Himmels-Atlas von Schrig-Götz'.
The eighth edition was published in 1960 (and reprinted in 1969 and 1973) by Karl Schaifers (1921-2009).
