Bode (1782)

I am the happy owner of five copper gravures with constellations from the 18th Century.
These maps, hand coloured, are from the atlas of Johann Elert Bode (1747-1826) "Vorstellung der Gestirne auf XXXIV Tafeln", 1782. Although the first edition was published in 1782, the first two maps are younger. More on this later.
