Gleason’s former Hialeah (it is NOT in Hialeah!) home and select memorabilia will be auctioned Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 18-19). Get the details here. The 9,000-square-foot home, pictured at right, sits on three golf course lots inside the Country Club of Miami, said Jim Gall, president of Miami-based Auction Company of America, which is handling the event. “It’s a great opportunity in a gated community,” Gall said. “There’s views forever.” Gleason moved his hit television show The Honeymooners to South Florida in the 1960s and later retired here. He died in 1987. The five-bedroom home is owned by the Bertha Fiesler Trust. Bertha Fiesler and her husband bought the home from Gleason, Gall said. The Fieslers have since died, and their children are selling the property. The home was assessed at $845,327 last year, Miami-Dade County property records show. Furniture, artwork, gym equipment, Ralph Kramden's bus driver uniforms and other items will be auctioned beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. The home will sell to the highest bidder, regardless of price, beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday.
