On this day we visited the town that was the ancestral home of almost every family on the tour. First we gathered around the sign at the entrance to the town to get a group photograph. Next, we met with the mayor and davened shachrit for the first time in over 63 years in what was the old Synagogue, and is now the library. We unveiled the "wall of memory" that listed each person that had been murdered there. We visited the cemetery where the killings had taken place, and the bodies were interred, and dedicated a tombstone, a "Matzevah", to mark the spot.
