After the day in Kupiskis, we went back to the hotel in Panevezys for dinner, and spent out last night together. What a journey we had all been on together.
On the way to dinner, we met the head of the Panevezys Jewish community. He proudly showed us a letter of authorization to start a synagogue, which he had just received. We gave him a tallis some other items.
