In November 2015 I accompanied Refugees International Japan to visit projects in Johannesburg, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam.

We met refugees from DRC, Zimbabwe, Angola, Ethiopia, Somalia, Burundi, Rwanda and elsewhere. We visited some very intimidating places, and heard some extremely violent stories. We also met many people whose lives had been materially improved by assistance from local projects - some of which in turn are supported from RIJ.
