Anatalia is from Rwanda. She came to Nairobi via the Congo and Uganda. An attack on the first camp in DRC killed friends and family; Anatalia had to flee into the forest. Her story is one of constant movement and insecurity. Anatalia lives in a metal hut with her three year old, Peo Baraca (on the right), and with another older son. Her husband is still in the DRC. The boy in yellow is a neighbour, Warreh.
Anatalia received business training from a local project supported by RIJ, and continues to attend monthly meetings for refresher training, for advice on matters like legal aid, and for psycho-social support - to feel part of a community.
