Amina is a refugee from Somalia. She lives off an alley, alone in a single room the length of and slightly wider than her single bed. Amina sells food and hair products. She came to Nairobi in 2010, having spent 8 months in Dabab refugee camp. She cannot write, which exacerbates her difficulties. Here she shows the UNHCR letter certifying her refugee status.
