Flood 2010

Images of the damage from the 1000 (not a typo) year flood that hit Middle Tennessee (and in particular in these images Pegram and Kingston Springs) starting Saturday Morning 5/1/2010. Much loss but people are helping each other through this and spirits are high in general.

I can only imagine everything that happened and you are such a good man. Community does come together to help out when we need it and a reminder that stuff can be taken away so quickly and to live each day to the fullest. My prayers still going up for all of you! Love the images!

The awesome power of nature! I've just visited the area of north west England that suffered a dreadful flood last year and seen the clean up which is still going on. I hope everything is back to normal soon.

We should never underestimate the power of water. We had this 100 year flood in 1983 and again in 1995 when our house flooded. Nothing compared to Katrina's flood after the canal levees broke. Water can be a beautiful thing until it gets into your house. My heart goes out to all of you.
