Scattered Memories

Pegram, TN

This is a scene from Pegram of the house of friends from church who were a few weeks away from moving back to Wisconsin. Many family holiday decorations with sentimental value were stored in this shed along with books and other items already boxed in anticipation of their future move. They were away on a retreat when the storms hit. They returned to much loss but their neighbors moved belongings from the first to second floor. Note the high water line I've marked on the house.

I am amazed at how people watched out for and took care of one another throughout this event. The acts of service and kindness continue. Spirits remain high in spite of the challenges. We will make it through this together.

I have dedicated a gallery to scenes from the aftermath of the 2010 1000 year flood...

Shellie & Scott B. save the day loaning me a mobile hot spot long enough to upload some after the flood shots. So much devastation. These and 7 more added to recents.

Goodness, Lord have Mercy! It's 'inspiring' to see everyone working together, albeit from such a tragedy ~ Many blessings Yours & all of the other families, Scottie
