Rerouted

Kingston Springs, TN

Nothing left of the four homes across from the high school football field in Kingston Springs except concrete slabs and gas meters. Most of the road shifted into the lots soon after their wet ride downstream in what is normally a small wet weather stream. What an amazing sense of power.

Today I've dedicated and added several images to a gallery of scenes from the aftermath of the 2010 1000 year flood...

A view of this from a higher vantage with notes...

Sometimes it is easy to forget that we don't control the the ground we walk on. It controls us.
