Once again we start the rose season beginning with the earliest to bloom.
My Roses in Spring & Summer 2017-18
The Winter Garden of 2017
Pruning time, keeping me busy on dry days wading through the 500+ roses. Am I mad?
All worth while in spring, summer and sometimes in autumn if we have decent rains.
Spring & Summer Roses in my garden 2016-17
2016-2017 Summer in Australia can be very changeable with quite a few heatwaves and temperatures in the 40s, this summer so far has been mild with quite a lot of rain and my rose garden is enjoying the respite
from the heat. As long as I keep up with dead heading there are new buds forming.
Late Winter and Spring in my Garden 2016
I aim to photograph the latest arrivals to the garden as they open in Spring, in the meantime here
are the first rose blooms for the new season.
Spring Roses during the 2015-16 Season.
One or two autumn roses may find their way into this gallery.
Rose Pruning Time down south Winter 2015
As I prune I bring in any blooms that are worth saving for a last glimpse until the Spring Roses
start appearing.

Painted roses and other flowers & leaves 2011 to 2013
So many roses bloomed in our spring that I never got around to processing them all. I'm now
going back over all the saved images and choosing some interesting shots that I missed.
Quite a few are from images I've created to use as a jigsaw puzzle & some are quite recently taken.

A walk in the autumn rose garden - 2010

its wonderful to feel the cooler air and even have some autumn rain. My
roses made a come back after just hanging in there during summer.
A Gallery of Spring ROSES from my garden in November & December 2009
Starting late October the roses are in their first flush of the season, not far from their peak. We've had lovely spring rains and the old roses are looking fabulous. More rose photos can be found in the above list and here http://www.helpmefind.com/plant/l.php?l=99.3367&tab=10&lstLstgID=4267
Out in the garden with me in early SPRING 2009
Spring seems to be arriving very early this year - like a whole month early!
Autumn Roses in my garden 2009
Autumn, from March until early June, the roses are maybe smaller and often with less petals, but the even temperature in our autumn is a delight in the rose garden. Often the colours are quite different to the spring/summer roses.
Spring in my ROSE garden in 2008
......I have over 500 roses in my rose garden, and that's 350+ varieties of all types.

When the Kookaburra sings in early Spring..
.........
But don't expect photos of kookaburras - I haven't got the right lens to capture them. What you'll find here is photos mainly taken from my morning walk around the garden in early spring - and a few further afield. This is my September Gallery.
