We found this unique garden by accident in Chiang Mai's moated older city. It belongs to a business that makes recreations of old statues, pots and reliefs from around Asia and sells them to hotels, restaurants and private residents in various countries.
For me, the mossy, walled garden was a photographic treasure trove
The plants and scattered objects combined beautifully even though so many eras were represented
The garden's creators use various techniques to age the pieces
Works are found throughout the garden, sometimes in subtle corners
It was like being in a hundred ancient sites in one place
Some works were on their sides or partially covered in leaves as if they were just found in a dense jungle
It was a lot of fun to "discover" the objects in various parts of the rambling garden
Thank goodness that our small balcony at home barely accommodates us or there might have been a shipment on its way to Canada
