Photographs taken in Mumbai at the beginning of my fourth trip to India in November 2004. I stayed in leafy Colaba, admired Indo-Saracenic architecture and visited Mumbadevi temple in the bazaar district of Kalbadevi. Then I walked to Mangaldas cloth market, had lunch at a street stall and continued through busy streets lined with stalls to Crawford Market, built 1869-72.
