Cambodia Then & Now

Images from a return visit over twenty-years on, combined with a few film images from 1993.

In 1993 Siem Reap had one rundown tourist hotel where all of our party got sick. On our return all the posh 4-5 star resorts were abundant. Warm friendly people everywhere.
I highly recommend the Chanrey Tree Restaurant in Siem Reap where we went back for dinner a second night. Khmer cuisine, similar to fine Thai food. Very high quality and gorgeous decor: http://chanreytree.com/home/
