Monument Valley


Oljato-Monument Valley is a Navajo Tribal Park located on the border of Arizona and Utah
made famous in a series of classic black and white Western films by director John Ford made with John Wayne, Henry Ford and others.

Over a decade later I'm still finding and adding new images that hadn't been processed or posted before.

A spectacular gallery that brings back so many memories of Monument Valley and surrounding locations. I have been there twice and love the people, place and landscape. My guide was Ray Begay and I could see a number of locations that we also visited on our backcountry tour. So many outstanding captures and I really like the variety. VVV+++
