Feeling Blue in Santorini






Santorini was on my photographic bucket list for a long while. It didn't disappoint! So easy to photograph, with its brilliant white walls and Mediterranean blue doors. With the clear skies, this was a photographer's dream.

Beautiful gallery. There's a reason for all that blue! Greeks believe very strongly in what they call ... The evil eye, with one look, you can cast a bad spell. They believe that the color blue repeal the evil eye and that's why all over Greece, you can find and wear a blue eye on your gold neck chain. They also like to paint blue their windows and doors, again for protection. Very superstitious ... but the Chinese have even more superstitions!
