We only grow a half dozen or so various clematis - how could we not include them amongst our roses!
Iris & Daylilies
Tall, medium and dwarf bearded iris edge the rose garden in one section and grow in clumps in different spots in the garden. They flower from October until December, most however bloom before the roses hit their straps mid-November. Daylilies begin December & have been used as a border in two sections of the garden.
I'm a bit shaky with some of their names... if you recognise one and know the name can you let me know? thanks...

Plants In Pots and Baskets

S u c c u l e n t s
We have been replacing water-loving plants with succulents as a means of restricting water use.
T r e e s
Some native and exotic trees most of which grow on our property. Re Eucalypts (or gum trees) there are more than 900 known species and all except 12 are naturally endemic to Australia. Everywhere you look there are gum trees, they pop up in the garden in unexpected places and unless they're really in a difficult spot we tend to let them grow in situ. Here is a sample of those growing in our garden and surrounding area.
